When we confess our sins!
When we confess our sins!
“15 In their hunger you gave them bread from heaven and in their thirst you brought them water from the rock; you told them to go in and take possession of the land you had sworn with uplifted hand to give them. 16 “But they, our forefathers, became arrogant and stiff-necked, and did not obey your commands. 17 They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them”Nehemiah 9:15-17
I was in my room the whole day taking my rest and reading Gods word. Then God inspires me to remember how merciful and faithful He was, He is and He will be to us. I am thinking what he had revealed into our ministry last December 2006. Our Sunjang/descipler gave us our quiet time list before their mission trip to
Palawan for the month of December: The book of Nehemiah. Reading the gospel really amazes me when I followed what have been taught to me what to do while having the quiet time. I simply observe, interpret, and apply what is on the passage. Therefore on the first and the second week of reading pays my attention.
Then we are about to work on our plans to have a Christmas party. It is nice to imagine that many people will be impressed on our theme: “CHRISTmaster in our Hearts” The true REASON for the SEASON. But folks these made an impact into us. This theme serves as a self check reminder itself to those people who were credit on forgetting something precious that time. Yes, we forget to guard the whole ministry by guarding our own self idea, therefore the presence of boastful evil was indeed present that time. Then I asked my self “How can we build the God’s kingdom in our group if I only work on my own capacity? If only I work for my own glory?” Praise God for He uses our quiet time to reflect on what is he trying to reveal on us. He reminded us to work as far as we can serve others who are in need for guidance. He wanted us to have unity to keep our fellowship be strong. Love one another and be the foundation of the ministry. To accept, be patient, humble to each others shortcoming. The Lord reminded us that Love is a long suffering. As he did from the start, thousands of years ago and will be continually repeating on being gracious, forgiving and compassionate to those who sorry for their sins. We taught we are already equipped soldier for a battle. We already worn the armor of being independent with proud so we volunteered to organize and plan for this wonderful event. And then without knowing we are still babies needed to be pampered by our mother yet our parents are not around. In God’s great mercy He sent someone who adopted us and be guided by His words. God uses Blenda Bensurto to patiently warn us and inspired her to speak His words.

Yet some of us hear but not listened. Some of us understand, then peace has returned then we boast again. But God is merciful and great for He did not forsake us.
